This 1949 Chevrolet 3100 pickup features the sought-after five-window cab design of Chevrolet’s Advance-Design trucks. It was acquired from Washington State in 2021 after being refurbished under a previous owner, and it now comes with a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
Powertrain
Power comes from a 216ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission. The seller reports that the truck starts, runs, and drives smoothly. A rebuilt 6-volt starter was installed in 2023.
Exterior
The truck is finished in Cape Maroon with a chrome grille and bumpers, running boards, a driver-side mirror, a brush guard, and a windshield visor. The bed has a wood-plank cargo floor. It rides on 15″ steel wheels with four new tube-type tires installed in 2022.

Things to Verify or Disclose Before Publishing
“Original” vs. “refurbished”: Your notes call the truck “original” but also say it was refurbished. Clarify what “original” means, such as the original engine, original body panels, or original color, so buyers aren’t misled.
“Impeccably refurbished”: I left out “impeccably” because there’s no record of what the refurbishment involved or when it happened. If you have receipts, photos, or a shop name, add them. Otherwise, keep the wording modest.
Original engine and color: Unless you’ve confirmed through the VIN, engine stamping, or other documentation that the 216 and the Cape Maroon paint are factory-original, avoid calling them “original” or “numbers-matching.”
Accessories: The brush guard, visor, and radio may be period accessories or later additions. Describe them neutrally unless documented.
6-volt electrical system: It’s worth noting for buyers unfamiliar with vintage trucks.
