Low-mileage 1990 Chevrolet 454 SS with a reported Regency Conversions package, clean Carfax, and fresh fluid service.
The 454 SS was Chevrolet’s high-performance street truck, offered only as a standard-cab short-bed. This example is said to have been modified by Regency Conversions when new, and its Carfax report shows no accident or damage entries.
Powertrain
Power comes from a fuel-injected 454ci V8, rated at 230 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque when new. It’s paired with a THM-400 three-speed automatic and a limited-slip rear differential with a 3.73:1 final drive. The 454 SS package added a heavy-duty radiator and separate engine oil and transmission fluid coolers. A stainless steel exhaust with a Flo-Pro Max muffler has been fitted, exiting through polished rear outlets. Fluid services were performed in preparation for the sale.
Exterior
The truck is finished in Onyx Black with black trim, with silver and red 454 SS graphics and badges and a red bowtie grille badge. Features include a cowl hood, front spoiler, integrated fog lights, body-color bumpers, tinted windows, window vent shades, a sliding rear window, a latching vinyl-grain tonneau cover, and a bed rug.
Chassis
The truck sits on a Belltech lowering kit with revised front spindles, rear hangers, springs, and shocks. The SS package also added a larger front sway bar and quick-ratio steering. It rides on chrome 15″ US Wheel Rallye wheels with 275/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. Braking is by front discs and anti-lock rear drums.
Interior
The cabin has bolstered high-back bucket seats in Garnet Red cloth with matching plastics and carpets. Wood trim accents the dashboard, door panels, and an added roof console. A wood-rimmed Dino steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. Features include air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and door locks, a lockable center console, a Kenwood CD stereo, and a concealed Cobra radar detector.
Mileage
The six-digit odometer shows about 20,000 miles, roughly 100 of which were added under current ownership.

Powertrain

The truck rides on a 131″ wheelbase with a Styleside bed and is finished in Raven Black. The body has been clear-coated to preserve the paint and patina. Features include cab lights, chrome bumpers, dual Swing-Lock mirrors, and vent windows.
